About as Useless as Tits on a Bull

There are lots of trinkets and tools that are created and marketed to make cookery and kitchen work 'easier'. Initially,  this Pyrex tool seemed enjoyable, and safer than the generic can opener as it left no sharp edges. I've heard horror stories of stray animals that get their heads trapped in cans that haven't had the top completely detached. After poking their wee little heads into the containers looking for a lick or two of scraps, they back out and get snagged on the sharp edge of the semi opened can.

I'm not sure if the blade on this tool is dull or if the life expectancy on the product is short but after attempting to open several cans and finagling around with it I was left with shards of metal and a short temper. Thank goodness, plan b: my old faithful swiss army utility knife. This little baby comes in handy although I'd like to upgrade one day to one that has a compass embedded in it. Surely that will come in handy during excursions.

Note: I've only had the Pyrex opener for 1.25years.
