Meatless balls: Yield- 28ea
Ingredients:
2c bread crumbs, soft
3/4c walnuts, finely chopped
1/2c oats (pulse in food processor)
1/2c onion, finely diced
1/2tsp garlic powder
1tsp onion powder
1/2tsp vege-sal
1tsp Italian seasoning
3tsp chicken-like seasoning
16oz tofu, firm
1/2c water
2tbsp liquid aminos
1tsp black pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Place first four ingredients in large mixing bowl.
2. Blend tofu with water and liquid aminos in blender or food processor. Add the breadcrumb mixture and process.
3. Using a small ice cream scoop, place mounds onto nonstick or oiled cookie sheet. If desired, flatten balls into small patties. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
